Marina Urchukina (b. 1965) is a self-taught artist currently based in Kiev, Ukraine. For as long as she can remember, she always painted. She paints mostly flowers: on canvas, on paper, on plywood, on “Christmas bulbs”, anything goes. Marina lived and painted in the US, Slovenia, France, Russia, Ukraine. Oil and acrylic on canvas, brush, and palette knife are her favorite media and tools. Marina’s poetic view of the world apparently weaves into her art. Marina believes that art is about sharing.
